Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, launches MAHA-AI (Maharashtra Hub for Advanced Artificial Intelligence): A Sovereign AI Platform Developed by NIC Maharashtra

MAHA-AI (Maharashtra Hub for Advanced Artificial Intelligence) is a sovereign, on-premises AI platform developed by NIC Maharashtra and hosted at the Maharashtra State Data Centre. Launched on 23 June 2026 by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, it provides secure AI-powered services such as drafting, translation, summarisation, knowledge search, and report generation for Government departments. It ensures data privacy through Government-controlled infrastructure and advanced security features.
